Free is fine for the odd question. File uploads and image creation are limited, though, and OpenAI does not publish exact limits, so you will hit them with more frequent use. OpenAI may use Free conversations to train its models unless you turn this off in settings.

Go at $8 adds more messages, uploads and images, but you do not get stronger models such as GPT-6 Sol in chat. For most people who use ChatGPT at work every day, Plus at $20 is the sweet spot. Pro from $100 only makes sense if you hit the Plus limits daily or need GPT-6 Pro mode and long agent sessions.

  • Go, Plus and Pro prices in Slovakia and Czechia include VAT. Czech Business prices are shown without VAT.
  • Even Pro is not unlimited: GPT-6 Pro has a weekly cap.
  • For a company, Business beats a personal Plus: business data is not used for training by default and an admin controls access.

FAQ

Is ChatGPT free?

Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and everyday text chats have no fixed cap, apart from safeguards against abuse. File uploads, image creation, voice and deep research are limited, and OpenAI does not publish the exact numbers. If you need more, you can move to Go at $8 or Plus at $20 a month.

What is the difference between ChatGPT Plus and Pro?

Plus costs $20 a month and gives you GPT-6 with thinking, expanded Codex and ChatGPT Work, and limited access to the top model, GPT-6 Astra. Pro starts at $100 and adds GPT-6 Pro mode powered by Astra, longer agent sessions, unlimited image creation and a bigger context window: 128K tokens in instant mode versus 54K on Plus. Even Pro has limits, as GPT-6 Pro has a weekly cap.

Is ChatGPT Go worth it?

Go costs $8 a month and, compared with Free, gives you more messages with tools, more uploads, images and voice chats, longer memory, projects and custom GPTs. Its context window is twice as large, 54K tokens versus 27K. It does not include stronger models such as GPT-6 Sol in chat, though. It is worth it if Free only runs short on volume. If you want better answers to demanding tasks, go straight for Plus.

How much does ChatGPT cost for a business?

ChatGPT Business costs $25 per user per month, or $20 a month billed annually. A Premium seat with five times the usage costs $125, or $100 a month billed annually. Business is for teams of 2 to 200 people, and business data is not used for training by default. Large companies agree on Enterprise pricing with OpenAI directly.
