Free is enough to try Grok, but xAI does not publish exact limits. Plus at $8 is the cheapest paid plan. Its weekly allowance is shared between Grok and Cursor, so it suits people who mostly use X and only use AI now and then. If you want to work with Grok every day, go for Premium at $30, with four times the usage and Grok Bot.
Super and Ultra are for people who let agents run for hours or code a lot in Cursor. All prices are in USD and exclude VAT, which is added at checkout. Paying annually, you pay for 10 months instead of 12. xAI does not publish official euro prices for Slovakia.
- The old SuperGrok and SuperGrok Heavy plans have not been sold to new customers since 12 October 2026. Existing subscribers can keep them until they switch or cancel.
- If you had X Premium+, pick Premium or higher when you switch. Only those plans include the full X Premium+ perks.
- The shared weekly allowance is used by Grok and Cursor at the same time. Non-Grok models in Cursor are billed separately.
- For companies, Teams starts at $30 per user. Enterprise adds company sign-in (SSO), invoicing and data residency, but xAI does not say in which regions. Through the regular API, the processing location is only guaranteed in the US.

Prices in USD per million tokens from the xAI price list as of 28 October 2026. From 200,000 input tokens the whole request is billed at double the rate. The Batch API is 20% cheaper for every model except Grok Build 0.1, which does not support it. The US endpoint, which guarantees processing in the US, serves only Grok 4.7 and 4.6 and costs 10% more. xAI has no European endpoint. Grok 4.7 Fast is only available in Cursor and the Grok Build tool, not in the public API.

Is Grok free?
Yes, the Free plan costs nothing. You get a limited number of chat requests, limited agent tasks and limited Grok Build and Imagine. xAI does not publish the exact limits. Paid plans start with Plus at $8 a month excluding VAT.
How much does Grok cost in euros and Czech koruna?
xAI lists prices in USD excluding VAT: Plus $8, Premium $30, Super $100 and Ultra $200 a month. It does not publish official euro prices for Slovakia. Czech visitors to grok.com see koruna prices, also excluding VAT, such as CZK 209 for Plus and CZK 759 for Premium a month. VAT is added at checkout.
What happened to SuperGrok?
Since 12 October 2026, xAI only sells The X Subscription to new customers, which bundles Grok, Cursor and X Premium. You can no longer buy SuperGrok or SuperGrok Heavy. Existing subscribers can keep their plan unchanged until they move to a new plan or cancel.
Is Grok suitable for companies in the EU?
Grok and the xAI API work in Slovakia and Czechia. For teams there is Teams, with admin tools and team-wide privacy settings, and Enterprise adds SSO and data residency in regions xAI does not name. Through the API, xAI only guarantees the processing location in the US. The main Grok 4.7 runs in US regions only. The cheaper Grok 4.3 also lists a European region, but the global API can send requests anywhere. If your data must stay in the EU, Mistral is the safer pick.
Which Grok model is the newest?
The newest is Grok 4.7, released on 21 September 2026. In the Grok app it powers Expert and Heavy modes, and Fast mode for paying users. xAI does not say which model free users get in Fast mode. On the API there is also the cheaper Grok 4.3 from April 2026 and Grok Build 0.1 for coding. Older models are still on the API too: Grok 4.5 and 4.6 cost the same for input and output as Grok 4.7, and the three Grok 4.20 versions from March cost the same as Grok 4.3.
